Body & Soul cleanse – Day 1 “Preparation is Vital”

7 Jan

PREPARATION IS VITAL
Think of your ”Body & Soul Cleansing” being like a marathon. My daughter Johnna didn’t just decide in one day… ”today I am going to run the Chicago Marathon”!  No… she prepared well in advance, joined in with her friends while  her dad and I were there to cheer them on! Her preparation was vital.

In preparing yourself  for a Body & Soul Cleanse, one option (as there are many out in cyber space!)  is to prepare with my 3 day cleanse (part I, II & III). Remember, like Johnna and her friends  –  preparation is vital.  You want to prepare physically for your Body & Soul Cleanse at least half the length of time of your actual cleansing. In other words, if you are going to do a seven day deep cleanse… prepare approximately 3 days in advance. For a twenty one day deep cleanse, prepare approximately ten days in advance and so on.

Preparation is vital … your cleanse depends on it!

God has at times said to me, “Kelly, today I want you to fast” and I jumped right in. But that is one reason I choose to eat healthy to begin with! I want to always be ready.  Sooo…

ON YOUR MARK… GET SET…. AND LET GOD BE GOD!
What greater way to prepare for the year than with a Body & Soul Cleanse!  (Or would you rather run the Chicago Marathon?!!) My purpose in posting this Body & Soul Cleansing, is to encourage, motivate and be challenged as we learn from each other along the way. This Body & Soul Cleanse is  better known in our home as a “fast”, but if my post said,  “let’s do a 40 day fast”, not many would follow! So since “cleanse” is a good buzz word… so be it!  Whether you desire to do  a one , seven or even a forty day cleanse, come  join in and let’s run together!

Let this Body & Soul Cleanse begin as we enter into a time of drawing aside, a time of rest, a time of refocus and a time of posturing ourselves for God to be God in our lives… body, soul and spirit.

So on your mark, get set and let God be God!

Visit back often as I will post juice recipes along the way and while you are here,  leave a comment about your Body & Soul Cleansing experience so we can cheer each other on!

Hi Kelly – I’m definitely ready to let “God by God” in my life. A body, soul and spirit cleanse sounds like an awesome way to begin the new year. I sensed the Lord speak to me the other day about heart healing and how it’s through intimacy with Jesus that our hearts are healed. Or to speak in terms of cleansing, our hearts are “detoxed”. Love this concept and will be following your posts closely! I’ll be joining you along the way too!

    love,
    Ginny

“Heart Healing”… sounds like another good tele-summit to me! We shall see what unfolds each day…. let me know what and how God speaks to you during your intimate times with Him! Let’s run this race of health together! :)
